    Should coca cola be banned

In my opinion it shouldnt be. long back, when George fernandez was minister for industry and commerce in the union cabinet he banned coca cola terming american invasion of third world economy. He encouraged local companies to come up with coca cola alternate and came THUMS-UP.Thumsup in no way can match coca cola.a coke drink if so refreshing with it's sparkling gas. in addition to this, when they were banned, they shifted their plant to NEPAL,Nepal being an independant country and trade between india and nepal are free and continued to serve indian consumers.today imported coke is available in all major stores like spencers, reliance, etc as that has a consumer demand.About water exploitation. OUR WATER SOUCE IS recirculated source as well as rain water, amount of water consumed by any animal is excreted in same volume to the earth.so if there is no water in nearby wells in plachimada, that is because of draught, not due to exploitation.readers commnts welcome.

A cold drink that has less production cost is sold nine times higher, thanks to the aggressive marketing strategy of the multi-national companies. Thanks to the ballooning foreign exchange of the country coupled with relaxation in repatriating profits to head quarters of these companies, this has been a major drag on the Indian economy. But the tender coconut from Kerala which has a vast potential to replace the Coca cola product, besides being healthy do not have any side effects Even though coconut water is available throughout the world including USA the tender sweetness of our coconuts from Kerala will not be available elsewhere. So according to me there is a strong case for banning coca cola. Besides there is an ongoing dispute regarding the ground water levels which are being exploited by these companies. What we should do -- Better alternatives to aerated drinks because every one needs a healthier drink and sweet, tender Kerala coconuts fits the bill.
