Given the importance of value investing, I was thinking of starting a new column on Value Investing exclusively for Beginners - people on the threshold of their life - The risks associated with investment in stock market and the advantages. As everyone is aware, investment in stock is superior to other form of investment provided one is aware of the basic fundamentals of stock market investing.
The topics that would be covered in this column would be fundamentals of investment, the various avenues available for investment, risks involved, and explaining the various terms used in simple and easily understandable language.
I would, however, consider it fortunate if more members participate in the discussion with an open mind, suggestions to improve the forum discussions and the periodicity of the posting.
In the meanwhile members are welcome to post specific query, if any, on the suject.
