The question of banning campus politics came for discussion only when it became rowdyism. Students started killing each other in the name party politics, and the peaceful atmosphere in the campus was lost. politics is not fighting each other.

One can learn and understand politics and be part of nation's development even without introducing violence. Campus elections can be fought meaningfully based on policies and individual's capacities. So politics is something which is needed if an individual wants to be part of a democratic system.

Each student come out of the college with necessary understanding of the country's political set up, only if they are getting exposure to political activities inside campus.

Campus politics is good in the sense that it makes good leaders...But it has another face that it ends the future and life of some other people..Politics with peaceful atmosphere can be encouraged..But what if it leads to violence and rowdyism??
So there should be a system to take benefits of politics in campus,,also by avoiding its demerits. Presidential Method of election is a more possible way for this. This was adopted for the college union elections in some of the Aided colleges including the St. Berchmans' college Changanacherry, Which is the first college in Kerala to achieve A+ grade in NAAC accreditation.
This method will surely prevent the violence during the college union elections..
