Its true that the the present politicians are not interested in giving preference to the job they are assigned to. They like to make maximum revenue out by misusing all the possible methods available.Every day we read in the newspaper about different scams and corruptions. Its really a pathetic situation where we people have to suffer. I think there should be an alternative media like the 'WikiLeaks' and people like Julian to expose the corrupted politicians before the public.

Politics is not 'party politics'. As you commented, party politics have become, to some extent, money making (of course, there at least a few who are different). One can be part of politics even without joining any political party.
Politics is something connected with the nation. Try to be involved in the development of the nation at any level. Now since decentralization has already been accepted and is in full swing active, any citizen can take part at the local level, say Panchayath level, to serve the development cause.
