Kammath & Kammath is directed by Thomson K. Thomas who made his directorial debut with Karyasthan. The movie will be complete entertainer with Mamootty in lead role with Dileep, Karthika Nair, Rima Kallingal and Narain seen in supporting roles. Mamootty and Dileep will be seen as Kammath brothers while Narain is casted as an income tax officer. For more excitement tamil actor Dhanush will be seen in a cameo role who comes to inaugurate a hotel owned by the Kammath Brothers. Scripted by Udayakrishna -Siby K. Thomas, Kammath and Kammath will be produced by Anto Joseph. Karthika Nair and Rima Kallingal are the female leads. This movie made with a budget of 9 crores has already made news with its lavish sets, songs and stylish making. Kunjanathente Kada will be a mega project for fame director who had made world attention with his directorial debut Adaminte Makan Abu. 'Kunjananthante Kada' (Kunjananthan's shop) will be his second project featuring Mammootty in lead while the movie will bring some on the best in the industry together into a single platform. Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookkutty will be seen again in his role performing sync sound for the movie while the camera will be wielded by prominent cameraman Madhu Ambatt.
More interestingly Mammootty will be seen speaking in the Kannur slang while Salim Kumar who had brought fame to malayalam through his splendid acting brilliance as Abu would share screen space with the mega star. The theme of the movie revolves around the life of a husband and wife who are not ready to compromise and tolerate each other connected to socially relevant isssues set in the backdrop of Kannur.
