Dus Thakeer: Maqbool Salmaan on top gear

Maqbool Salmaan might be in cloud nine getting appreciation from around for his majestic acting in Asuravithu and Matinee. Giving full dedication and considering each project as a learning process, Maqbool is gearing up to make 2013 a successful year. He already has committed few movies which are expected to start rolling soon. His upcoming projects include Parayan Baaki Vechathu, Once upon a time, Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla and Dus Thakeer.

Dus Thakeer scripted and directed by debutant Josh would give yet another opportunity for Maqbool Salmaan to prove his mettle as an actor. The movie has a long line of cast including Bineesh Kodiyeri, Ganesh Kumar, Biju Kuttan, Manikandan Pattampi,J.P, Kannan Pattampi, Kalinga Sasi, Sona, Aparna Nair and Abhinaya. The movie will be produced by Nishab under the banner Planet Builders.

Dus Thakeer travels through three different stories which would get interconnected at the end. One story takes place in Kolkatha while the other two have roots in Kerala. Maqbool Salmaan Maqbool who plays the role of an IT professional is a modern, romantic and lovable person. For the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahamed, Gopi Sunder will set the tunes. The cinematography of the movie would be safe in the hands of Perumaal.

Maqbool dons an important character in the movie 'Parayan Baaki Vechathu', directed by Karim. Abbas Malayil who had earlier produced movies like Neelathamara and Novemberinte Nashtam would be financing for yet another good movie to be directed by Bharathan's disciple Karim who had directed then movie Agni Nakshatram.

'Once upon a time' directed by debutant Anoop Nair is a youthful thriller, a tale told in an unusual way. It is a blended with thrilling moments along with the magical touch of Dhrona who is making his debut as a music director in malayalam.
