The story of the movie revolves around an old-man living in a village who is waiting for the arrival of his son who has gone to city for pursuing Engineering. Swaham – 1994


The movie "Swaham" was made in the year 1994. This movie has been nominated for Cannes Film Festival and has won the award for the best movie in Austrian Movie Festival. Malayalam actress Ashwani has done the character of the mother in this movie. The story of "Swaham" is about a mother who thinks that all her problems will be solved on her son getting a job in military. Vanaprastham -1999


The Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal has won the best actor award in National wards for the movie "Vanaprastham". The story of this movie portrays the life story of a low-caste Kathakali artist. An upper-caste lady marries the low-caste Kathakali artist on getting attracted towards him after his performance as Arjuna of Mahabharata. After the birth of a baby, the Kathakali artist comes to know that the lady loved and admired the Arjuna's role and not him. Kutty Shrank – 2010


The top Malayalam actor Mamooty has show three different emotions and feelings in a single character. The movie "Kutty Shrank" starts with the arrival of a dead body towards the shore of the river and the police inquires about it.
