Mammootty to host reality show in a TV channel?

Reality Shows in television channels are becoming much popular among the viewers. Much interestingly, the TV channels are trying the best way in making each program unique. Living in a competitive world, television channels are not free from it as they too live up according to the interest of the spectators.

Following the footsteps of Hollywood and Bollywood actors, malayalam film stars have made their presence on big screen as anchors. Amithab Bachan, Salman Khan, Sharukh Khan and Amir Khan had become hosts of various programmes, Suresh Gopi, Mukesh, Jagadeesh, Swetha Menon and Rima Kallingal do have tasted the sweetness of anchoring different shows. With the Kerala Film Chamber keeping a ban on stars with regard to anchor programmes in channels, it is known that Mammootty will don the anchor role if things go fine.

Actress Rima Kallingal was banned by the Kerala Film Chamber a couple of days ago as the actress disregarded the notice send by the chamber. As all other stars did give respect to the notice and decided to cooperate, Rima continued to do the TV show in the channel without responding to the chamber. The action was later taken back as Rima gave suitable explanation.

The TV shows anchored by top bollywood actors could fetch more viewers while those in malayalam too have made sensation in TAM rating. Ningalkkum Aakam Kodeeshwaran telecast in Asianet anchored by Suresh Gopi is a good example of how people are compelled to watch the show due to the charima of the super star.

As it is reported Mammootty is gearing up to host a television show which does give preference to social issues. The programme is being planned as like on done by Amir Khan for 'Satyamev Jayathe'. As the programme goes on air, it would be a plus point for the channel while a visual treat for the viewers.
