The Kerala SSLC exam result was announced on 24th April 2013 by Mr. P. K Abdu Rabb, the Education Minister of Kerala. This year a winning percent of 94.17 was recorded which 0.53 percent is more than the previous year.
With a total of 4, 79,650 students appeared for the Kerala 10th Board exam, 94.17% students have got eligibility for higher studies. Meanwhile, the 'SAY' exams of SSLC will be held from May 13 to 18th and the results will be published by end of next month.
According to the latest norms, those students from the CBSE stream who had appeared for public examination in class 10 would only be allowed to take part in the single window allotment system for Plus One classes. In Kerala there are 755 government schools, 673 aided, 354, unaided, and 40 special/residential higher secondary schools.
While coming to government schools, there are 1,205 science batches, 663 humanities batches and 809 commerce batches while in aided schools, there will be 1,597 science batches, 560 humanities batches and 770 commerce batches. In unaided schools, the number of science, humanities, and commerce batches are 670, 127, and 307.
Depending upon the number of students who seek admission to Plus One courses the government will take steps to ensure Plus One admission to all eligible candidates. The applications for the plus one courses would be distributed from 15th May while the last date for submitting the form is on 27th May 2013.
The trial allotment would be published on 4th June followed by the first allotment on June 10. The last allotment would be done on June 25 while the classes are expected to begin on June 26. The admissions would be closed on 17th August.
