How to make fish pickle?


Are you interested in preparing fish pickle? Here I have given some steps to prepare fish pickle. Pickles are usually made with mango, lemon, garlic, amla. You can try something new to prepare pickle. You can prepare pickle with fish. Yes you can prepare fish pickle.

Pickle is a side dish served along with rice. It consists of oil and spice in it. The fish pickle consumes less oil and salt because it has enough oil and salt in it. It has more spice and its taste is so good. It consumes less ingredients and it takes more time for preparation. You can consume this fish fry for more than 1 month so that the pickle is not spoiling because the fish has enough salt in it.

Ingredients required for fish pickle


1. Fish: 500 g
2. Turmeric powder: ½ tsp,
3. Black pepper powder: 1 tsp,
4. Salt (as required)
5. Red chilly powder: 2 tsp
6. Ginger chopped: 1 tsp
7. Garlic chopped: 1tsp
8. Green chilly: 4
9. Fenugreek: 1 tsp
10. Vinegar: 3 tsp
11. Gingely oil: 2 tsp

Preparation method for fish pickle


Step 1: Clean the fish with water and salt.

Step 2: Marinate the cleaned fish with Turmeric powder, black pepper powder and salt. Keep it aside for ½ an hour.

Step 3: Heat the gingerly oil in a pan and deep fry the marinated fish pieces till it becomes golden brown. Cool fish fry and keep it aside.

Step 4: Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped ginger, Garlic and green chilly and stir it well. Remove it from the Oil and add with the deep fried fish pieces.

Step 5: Heat oil in another pan, add the Chilly powder and stir it in low flame and add vinegar and required salt. Add this mixture with fish and allow it to cool for some time.

Step 6: Put fenugreek powder in to the fish pickle and store it in a bottle.

Extra tip: You can use prawns instead of fish to prepare prawn pickle.
