Main Ingredients of Egg Slice Masala Recipe


• Eggs

Ingredients:
• Eggs - 6, hard boiled, peeled and sliced
• Onion - 1, large, finely chopped
• Curry leaves - 1 sprig
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
• Tomato - 1, finely chopped
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
• Red chili powder - 1 tsp
• Coriander powder - 3/4 tbsp
• Cumin powder - pinch
• Fennel seed powder - pinch
• Garam masala powder - pinch
• Tamarind paste - 1/2 tbsp, optional
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves - 1 1/2 tbsps, finely chopped
• Oil - 3 to 4 tbsps oil
• For coating of egg slices:
• Eggs - 2, lightly beaten
• Milk - 4 tbsps
• Salt to taste
• Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

Preparation Method of Egg Slice Masala Recipe


Step 1:
Take a pan pour 2 tbsps of olive oil and heat it. Mix all the ingredients called for 'coating' of egg slices in a thin bowl.

Step 2:
Put a small amount of egg slices in this mixture and cover on both sides. Put each coated egg slice in the hot oil and steam on both sides till it turns lightly browned.

Step 3:
Take out onto a plate and keep it separate. Repeat with remain of the egg slices.

Step 4:
Take a deep bottom of vessel, pour little oil into a pan and heat it. If you want to add more oil you can use.

Step 5:
Add sliced onions and fry for about 4 minutes. Include ginger-garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes. Then add curry leaves and mix.

Step 6:
Take red chili powder, turmeric powder, fennel seed powder, coriander powder and cumin powder add all these powder and mix it. Put in sliced tomatoes and sauté for about 4 minutes or till oil separates.

Step 7:
Pour 1 and ½ cups of water and bring to a boil. Decrease burn and add the tamarind paste and fried egg sliced pieces and closed with a lid. Steam with simmer for minimum 8-10 minutes.

Step 8:
Add the garam masla powder and mix. Heat without lid till you get the preferred gravy consistency.

Step 9:
Switch off burn, take out into serving bowl. You should decorate with fresh coriander leaves and serve with steamed rice, flavored rice or roti.

Step 10:
If you want make this recipe too tasty, you can add a tsp of cashew nut paste towards the cooking of final process.
