Ingredients 1) Milk - 2 and 1/2 (approx)
2) Curd - 1 tablespoon
3) Powdered sugar - 1 cup
4) Cardamom - 1 to 2
5) Pistachios - 1 tablespoon
6) Charoli - 1 tablespoon
7) Saffron - a pinch
How to prepare First make sure all the ingredients are available for you in front and set yourself to start the dish. Boil the milk and leave it to cool. When moderately hot add beaten curd to it. Mix it well by pouring from one pan to another and back. Cover and keep this aside for 10 to 12 hours. Pour it into a thin clean cloth and tie loosely. Hang the bag for 2 to 3 hours to let all the liquid drip through. Sprinkle crushed Cardamom and leave it for 1 hour.
Tie a strong cloth over the pan. Take small quantities of sugar and curd and mix them well over the cloth. Put it into a clean bowl. Continue this process till all the curd is mixed. Add saffron and mix thoroughly. Garnish it with sliced pistachios and charoli so that the plate looks attracted for the consumer and from its first impression itself others should fall in love with this dish. Finally allow it to cool and your shrikand is all set to be served.
