This article ia about, Kerala IPL Team and details of Kerala IPL 2011 season proposal by Master Director Priyadarshan and Mollywood superstar Mohanlal.

and top Mollywood
superstar Mohanlal
were good friends, they played cricket together during their childhood days (Priyadarshan was an opening batsman and Mohanlal was an all rounder) for a local team.
Kerala IPL 2011 proposal:
Due to their great interest in Cricket, they decided to start a cricket team for
Kerala IPL 2011
season, with the title
'City Cricketers'
, with this idea both were approached the
Kerala Cricket Association(KCA)
to know the details and formalities and also approached
BCCI
regarding this proposal.
BCCI also has a plan to increase teams into IPL and therefore the interest of Mohanlal and Priyan to make
Kerala IPL team
for the year 2011 was also appreciated by the Cricket fans from Kerala state.
Two NRIs and some corporates are showing their interest to fund the project, with the cost of around Rs 250 crore.
Robin Singh,
the former Indian player and fielding coach has been signed as the technical director.
Asin
the popular actress to be made the City Cricketers brand ambassador.
We can expect that
Kerala IPL 2011
will get its real shape very soon.
