AIEEE Admission Procedure


The admission to various NITs, IIITs and to other central funded, state funded and self financed institutes through AIEEE basically includes four steps.
1.Online registration by the candidates.
2.Online choice filling and locking by the candidates.
3.Online Seat Allotment and personally reporting to an Admission Center
4.Personally reporting to the Allotted Institute.

Online Registration


Online Registration starts from June 8 to June 23. There are help centers available the participating institutes. The faculties available there will guide you to the various procedures to be followed during admission time. It works normally from 9am to 5pm. There is no need that the students should go to the help centers, it is only to those students who are not aware of internet usage.

Online Registration Procedure


Candidates need to access the website www.ccb.nic.in for the registration. Then click on the Online Registration & Choice filling for AIEEE 2010. Inside that page, there is an option for new users; New User Registration!!Here. Click on the link and then you have to give the information regarding the Stream to which you are applying for; Engineering / Architecture Stream, your AIEEE roll number, Application number ( This will be on the application form you sent to AIEEE), your name and the date of birth. Make sure that you are giving information as per the data you provided during application for AIEEE.

After submitting all these information, you are required to provide an eight digit, case sensitive password. This password is used for your further login to the site. You can change the password later and it is advised not to disclose your password to others. After login, your personnel data will be displayed. You are allowed only once to change these data. Make sure that all the details regarding category, sub category, state and gender are correct. Candidates should give a correspondence address for further contacts. This includes phone number, mobile number, email id etc. Most of all if the personnel data submitted by you are found wrong during the admission,your candidature will be liable to canceled. It is better to take a photocopy of the details you submitted there. These data will be useful for further procedures during admission.

Choice filling and Choice locking


Candidates are allowed to fill the choices from June 8 to 23, 2010 onwards. The order should be from the top to bottom. That means an option given at the top will get more priority than the choices given below. Candidates should give the choices according to them. And most of all, they should lock the choices before 5 pm of June 23. Candidates can lock the choices from 12th June onwards. You are not allowed to change the details and choices after locking the choices. And if the choices are not positively locked, you will not be considered for further procedures. During the time of choice filling, from 8 June to 23 June, the tentative seat availability will be shown on the site.

Seat Allotments


The first allotment will be on 25th June. Candidates should check it from the website and should take a print out of the same if they are qualified. Those qualifies candidates need to report the nearest admission centre as soon as possible. If a candidate fails to report during the stipulates time, the candidature will be liable to cancelled. There will be 5 allotments based on the ranks, categories, subcategories and the state quota.

Reporting at the Admission Centres
During the reporting at the nearest Admission centre, students need to have the following documents;
1.Printout of locked choices and terms and conditions taken from the CCB website and duly signed by the candidate.

2.Originals for verification
i.Admit Card of AIEEE-2010.
ii.Score Card issued by CBSE.
iii.Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth.
iv.Pass Certificate and Marks sheet of qualifying examination. (See Section 6.4 for the list of qualifying exams)
v.Certificate of category (OBC / SC / ST), if applicable, issued by the competent authority
vi.Certificate for Physically Challenged (PH)
vii.Passport, if the candidate has passed the qualifying examination from outside India; this is required for determining the 'State from which eligible'.
viii.Proof of place of examination Center of the final examination from the National Open School for candidates having Senior Secondary Certificate; this is required for determining the 'State from which eligible'.

3.Two sets of self-attested copies of all the documents listed above. The originals will be returned after verification and self-attested copies will be retained by the Admission Center.

4. Two passport size photographs identical to the one pasted on the AIEEE 2010 application form.

Fee payment.
The candidates belonging to SC, SCPH, ST and STPH need to pay Rs.25000 and other candidates a fee of Rs.35000. These cashes are paid as DD to the address; The Chairman, CCB. Two DDs are to be made; One for 1000 and other for the rest of the fee.

After the final allotments, candidates are required to report at the Allotted institutes.
