The recent news and happenings reveals that Kerala IPL team will have a ground of it's own from the next year onwards. The home ground for Kerala IPL team will be in Kerala itself. The ground home ground will be none other than the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kaloor. It is the visit of BCCI technical committee to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor revealed that home matches of Kerala IPL team will be conducted in Kerala itself. The panel included Indian Premier League CEO Sundar Raman, Mehul Sha and Vivek Venugopal of the Rendezvous Sports World,the official owners of Kerala IPL team. According to Kerala Cricket Association(KCA), the panel is satisfied about the workings and developments in Kaloor. Apart from hosting the nine home matches of Kerala IPL team, the ground will be hosting many International Cricket matches after a long gap of two years. As a first step of this venture, ODI matches of Indian team against Australian team on October 2nd will be held in Kaloor.Kochi IPL team name and team members.
The Kochi IPL team name and team jersey will be announced only after the meeting of Rendezvous Sports World. This will take only after three months. They are trying to get the best team. As a step towards this, many big players like Azharudeen and Steve Waugh are to be selected in the team. The intake of players will be held only during the players' auction.
