It is very difficult for the unskilled drivers to drive through the narrow roads of Munnar. If you are a good driver and have a good car, it takes about 4 hours ( approximately 140 kms) to reach Munnar from Cochin. KSRTC buses are also available at Eranakulam at cheap rates. There are also many tourist cars and jeeps available. The nearest Airport is Nedumbasseri Airport and nearest Railway Station is Eranakulam.
