Raama Raavanan movie review

Raama Raavanan starring Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon tells the story of a Sinhalese girl and an LTTE member. The movie is directed by Biju Vattappara and produced by Rafi Mathira. The film was expected to release on June 11th but the date was postponed to July 15th. The story of Raama Raavanan is based of short novel "Manomi" by Madhavi Kutty. Its a family entertainer with good songs.

Annadurai was living in Srilanka and when the problems between tamilians and Sinhalese rises he shifted to India. When he lived in Srilanka he was protecting an orphan Manomi who was a Sinhalese child. After some years Manomi comes to visit Annadurai and everyone except Annadurai doesn't like her. During this time an LTTE member Thiruchelvam approaches Annadurai for temperory shelter. Thiruchelvam and Manomi falls in love. Annadurai remainds Manomi about the fight between LTTE and Sinhalese but she didn't care his advices. The friends of Thiruchelvam also warns him and reminds about the mission he has to complete. As the story moves there relationship becomes a problem to everyone except them.
