Kappakadavu Beach, Calicut.

Kappad or call as Kappakadavu located near Calicut, India. It is famous as the beach not only that Vasco-da-Gama's arrived at this place on the 27th of May 1498, A.D. with 170 men in three vessels.

Getting there:
Nearest railway station: Kozhikode, about 16 km.
Nearest airport: Karipur International Airport, Kozhikode about 23 km from Kozhikode town.
