you can assemble a desktop pc on your own. first buy a processor.quad core is running in the market. but for normal use, p4 3 ghz or amd 3ghz is enugh, now buy a compatible motherboard.an entry level motherboard from asus is 3000Rs,buy a CD/dvdreader/writer. buy a reasonable hard disk 160gb could be more than reasonable, memory card matching mother board spec 2 gb is minimum required for a good performance.now buy a cabinet with powerunit,400watts and start assembly. required cables come with hd and cd player. connect all cables from cd plaer and hard disk to motheroard, snap in the memory card and locck in in the motherboard. install the motherboard in the cabinet. all pins and sockets are made in such a way that you cannot make a mistake while connecting. now connect all power cords to hdd,cd,motherboard, connect the assembled pc to monitor, connect kayboard and mouse to motherboard, now on the machine, open cd rom and insert windows software, close and shut the machine, then restart, the system will run the software automatically, it should take around 2 hours for operating software like windows. once it is complete, inslall motherboard driver, that will install onboard vga abd audio drivers.restart, your system is ready to work.attempt, for any advise.contact the forum techtree.com.install a antivirus software before running the pc.free antivirus can be downloaded from net like AVGbut free versions willnot clean the virus.so you may have to delete the entire file. when it is a program fle, it will effect your system performance and might need operating software repair/reinstall.i haveassembled a high end desktop using my tutorials from techtree experts
