1st Day: Cochin – Munnar
This Munnar Kerala tour starts its fantastic journey from your arrival at Cochin International airport or Ernakulam Railway Station. From Ernakulam, you have to travel 140 kms or 4hrs journey to Munnar. For that, representative of tour operators are there( at airport or railway station whatever it may be) to assists you to your trip. Munnar is a picturesque hill station and you can enjoy the attractiveness of natural beauty of hills and valleys throughout the drive to Munnar. After the arrival at Munnar, check into the hotel, freshen and warm up with the welcome drink. Later in the night enjoy the delicious and mouth watering dinner and cozy overnight stay.
2nd Day: Munnar Sightseeing
This is the day for exploring the beauty of Munnar. After breakfast, Tour operators will take arrangements for a full day sightseeing tour to Munnar. Munnar is Known for "Neelakurinji", this is one type of flowers whoch blooms once in every twelve years. Munnar is also called as "Kashmir of the South". Major Places to visit at Munnar includes Echo Point , Kundale Lake, Rajmalai, Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Anaimudi, and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary a home to endangered Mountain Goat of Nilgiri Thar. Munnar is also well known for its well organized tea gardens which are major attractions here. Later return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
3rd Day: Munnar – Kumarakom
After morning breakfast at the hotel in Munnar check out at 0900Hrs and then drive towards Kumarakom which is located 175 Kms / 5 Hrs from Munnar. Kumarakom is well known for bird sanctuary and backwater. On arrival at Kumarakom, directly visit to the Kumarakom bird sanctuary which is the place for rare, endangered as well as migratory birds. After that return back to the hotel. Hotel people welcome you with a welcome drink. In the evening you can enjoy the enchanting backwater (Optional) or scenic beauty of the surrounding or sunset cruise. You can also take time to relax on the bank of the picturesque Vembanad Lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kumarakom.
4th Day: Houseboat in Kerala
Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel at Kumarakom and later 1230 hrs check in at houseboat. Rest of the day enjoy at leisure residing on the houseboat, enjoying the Panoramic view of the lake along with Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from the maddening crowd. Overnight stay will also be there at House Boat. This will give you rare and unforgettable events in your life.
5th Day: Houseboat – Cochin – Departure
