Grand Kerala Shopping Festival 2010-11
The Fourth Season of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival has been inaugurated by the Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan in Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium of Palakkad on 1st December 2010. The Shopping Festival will continue till 15th January 2011. There are almost 6000 trade centers in the state are participating in this grand festival. The festival is conducted by the State Government of Kerala with a motive to polish the tourism options in Kerala. There are planning to make Kerala a shopping destination.
As a apart of being making Kerala an International Shopping destination by this shopping festival, the government has decided to conduct a Grand Kerala Book Fair in Thiruvananthapuram. The Fair will start from December 18 to December 26, 2010. All those Book Fairs conducted in earlier years in accordance with this Grand Kerala Shopping Festival has got good comments. The success of this Shopping Festival will certainly be a great boost to Kerala Trade and Commerce.Prizes in Grand Kerala Shopping Festival 2010-11
A prize of 101 Kilogram of Gold will be distributed for the winners. The Mega Prize winner will get 1 Kg of Gold for three persons who got the first place.
Second prize is half Kg gold for six persons. Weekly, lots will be taken and the prize is distributed for the members. For Scratch and Win and Weekly prizes the holder of the coupon must surrender the original coupon, original bill and Identity proof. They must also put their sign in their coupon while submitting.
