Kerala..excels in re learning

When other states are trying to provide basic education to the people under different state and central schemes, Kerala people who are already literates are now in the process of re learning in their life.

Over 29 million people live in this state who are all educated lot.

Ever since this state formed in the year 1957 with Communist Govt, the state has witnessed tremendous progress in the field of education and in the process has become the first literate state of the Country.

Since the population is less, most of the Keralites are owners of some piece of land. And many of their kith and kin work abroad and earn money and fame too. An estimated 150,000 Keralites are working in the Gulf. Many are skilled technicians and medical staff.

Kerala govt always allocates good amount in the budget for the field of education. It is estimated that over 30 percent of budget goes to education sector.
