The releasing of Kamalahasan's high estimated film of the year 2010 Manmadhan Ambu , which is directed by K.S. Ravikumar, has been put off by a week from expected time. This is the Kamal's fifth film with the directior K.S. Ravikumar, which offer fireworks of laughs in screens. The movie Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin has planned to release it's both the versions in Telugu and Tamil at the same time during Christmas. In a press meeting Kamalahasan said about the movie that the film is a romantic comedy entertainer. The believable film circles saying that the film is much related with the Hollywood super hit film "Titanic". But the climax of the film will be a complete comedy entertainer unlike tragedy in Titanic. Some report says that the film is taken the story from an American comedy film 'There's Something About Mary'.
In the story, Madhana Gopal (Madhavan) is strongly in love with Ambujam (Trisha) but they are aparted by a crazy incident and the years passed without meeting each other. But Madhan was keeping his love to her and is inquisitive to chase her and commence a new life with her. Then Mr R. Mannar, a former Commando Major (kamal hasan) appointing by madhan's friend (Ramesh Arvind ) as a private detective to find Ambujam and to know whether she is still love to Madhan. Finally with a sequence of humorous scenes in a 'Mediterranean Cruise, Mannar finding Ambujam, who is an actress now and also she is still loving to Madhan. The film is ending such a happy mood.
