The Kerala state is surrounded by Karnataka state in the north side of India, the Kerala state is near to Tamil-Nadu state in the eastern India, and surrounded with the Arabian Sea in the west India. The capital of Kerala state is it's beautiful city Thiruvannthapuram. Thiruvananthapuram is also known as the beach Kovalam in Kerala state of India, there are many temples in Kovalam in Kerala, the Sri Padam-bhusham Temple is one of the famous temple here in Kerala, and also there are many beautiful museums in Kerala state and among various beautiful palaces it's looks like a heaven. The Kottayam city is famous for it's too old but beautiful churches. As you know that each district in Kerala state has it's own different culture to other states of India and with different-different characteristics in Kerala state of India.
Capital of Kerala : As I already told you that the capital of the Kerala state is Thiruvananthapuram, a beautiful place in Kerala, specially for visitors. However, the meaning of work '' Thiru ananthapuram '' is the city of Anantha, the place of the Lord Vishnu, the famous in the Hindu community. It was built by the Nagisk on seven beautiful hills, If you remember, I think it was the capital of the Venad's. After some time the city has grown as a tourist spot in Kerala with it's beautiful hills, by the becoming of International airport in the middle of Kerala state.
People of Kerala : As most of us know that the Kerala state is also has considerable on it's ethnic diversity. The Malayali community in Kerala is belongs to the group of local race of Indian peoples. Here is a small population of these peoples, like of Indo-European from the north sides. Most of the Keralites peoples are belongs to Hindu community, as you know that there is also a large population of Christian peoples in this area and also there is many peoples belongs to Islamic, and also belongs to Jain community, also belongs to Jewish community etc. The commonly used language here is Malayalam.
Population of Kerala State : Nearly 35 Million.
Festivals : In the month of February, there is a one week long Nishagandhi festival celebrated in Kerala. One another interesting festival is Pongala Utsavam.
