Vaazhve Maayam, released in 1970, was remarkable for its sweet songs. Meaningful lyrics by Vayalar was set to tune by music mastaero G. Devarajan. Seetha Devi Swayamvaram Cheythoru... is a duet rendered by Jayachandran and P. Susheela. Sathyan and Sheela did lead roles in the movie.
