Rose Gardens is a home stay with 4 rooms, blessed with beautiful and pleasant weather throughout the year, consisting of 2 acres of land full of spices and agricultural crops like fruits as well as a large variety of flowering plants. The homestay has ecofriendly environment. you can see the garden full of fresh vegetables and fruits, seasonal tropical fruits available . fresh and delicious honey which you can get from the bee keeping unit, fresh coffee from the farms and very cool and clear drinking water from the natural springs in the area.
The hosts are Tomy Joseph and Rajee Tomy who reside in the house with their 3 children. You can expect a family ambience at the homestay, local and traditional Kerala cuisine, eco sensitive tourism, homemade food, you can have meals with family, there will be no room service, no air conditioning and no television.

How to Reach the Rose Gardens Home stay

Rose Gardens is situated on the National Highway 49 and is easily accessible for the people travelling by road. The nearest airport will be Kochi international airport at Nedumbassery and the railway station will be Aluva as well as Kottayam. The place is located at an altitude of 3500 feet above sea level and is easily accessible from all parts of Kerala as well as Kodaikanal in Tamilnadu.

There are 4 bedrooms non air conditioned rooms , you will not feel the need for air conditioning as the weather is pleasant at Munnar throughout the year. You can have unlimited privacy where you can be away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in the natures lap. You can have the typical country life of Kerala and its traditional cuisine, mix and mingle with the friendly villagers.
The tariff is Rs 2500 - 4000 for a double room with twin beds.
Trekking fees will be charged etc that is Rs 1500 for a couple for a guided tour.
The twin ensuite rooms are capable of accommodating two families . They are clean and comfortable have verandahs in the traditional style overlooking the forest.
The food served is home made and prepared from home grown vegetables and fruits.
