Kathakali is the famous art form of Kerala. We all know that Kerala is situated in the southern part of India. So in general we can say that Kathakali is the art form of south India which is mainly Kerala. This art form usually starts in the evening & ends during the night time.

What is Kathakali?


It is interesting to note that this is mainly a story play which is religious in nature. Most people are interested in seeing this art form. When compared to women, this art form was performed usually by men in the past. But nowadays women are also actively taking part in this famous art form.
