The Sticky Notes Tool in Windows 7
The Sticky Notes applet in Windows 7 is the digital version of the yellow paper-strip stationery that we use in offices. It is not available in Starter and Home Basic versions of Windows 7. It can be found in the Accessories folder on the Start Menu.
You can create those yellow reminders on your desktop easily. Launch the applet and type away your notes. It resize automatically to accommodate your notes. The background color can be changed to a different color by right clicking on the note and choosing a desired color from the available colors. You can drag the note to any location on the desktop. You can create a new note by clicking the plus sign on the upper left corner of the existing note. When you create the note, Windows will save it automatically. To delete the note, click the x at the top right corner.
