Champions trophy T20 qualifying matches will start from sept 19th onwards. A total of 8 teams will play in the Champions Trophy. Out of the 13 teams, 7 teams have already been qualified, the rest 3 teams are selected on the basis of the qualifying round

Champions Trophy qualifying matches will start on 19th September onwards. A total of 13 teams have been come to India to play for this title based on the ranking of the domestic league T20 matches. A total of 8 teams will qualify for the Champions Trophy. Out of the 13, 7 teams have already been qualified. The rest 3 teams are selected on the basis of the qualifying matches.

3 IPL teams are directly qualified for the Champions trophy while 1 team will play in the qualifying rounds. The IPL champions Chennai super kings, Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore are the 3 teams and Kolkata Knight Riders can get a chance to play according their performance in the qualifying matches.
