Arjunan Sakshi Malayalam Movie Review
This most recent malayalam flick ArjunanSakshi has released on theaters today on 28th January. The film directed by one talented new director Renjith Sankar who has bagged the Lohithadas award. Prithviraj's first Malayalam movie Arjunan Sakshi has got an entirely different theme and good presentation. The movie is produced by S. Sundararajan under the banner of S. R. T. Films. Director Renjith himself had written the story for this nee social-action thriller Malayalam movie Arjunan Sakshi. Biji bal is done the back ground music and songs for this movie which portrays the Story about a young guy named Roy Mathew who coincidently falls in a murder incident. Renjith Sankar again proved his caliber to handle a serious movie with entirely deferent theme through a shocking presentation. Once we already seen his talents through his first movie 'Passenger'.
My point of view: Though the movie is in low pace in first half, the second half is striking one. Totally Arjunan Sakshi is an above average social action thriller with trange theme and a neat presentation. But we cannot say the movie will be a hit. We need to wait two or three days to know whether the viewers will welcome this serious theme or not. The initial pull is really very good. I think it is because of stunning advertising with rare striking postures of Prithviraj. The unusual direction from Renjith who handled himself its screen play, dialogues increases the viewers into theaters.
Plot of the movie Arjunan Sakshi
The story of Arjunan Sakshi movie revolves around a young guy Roy Mathew, who is an architect, plans to complete his abroad life and to start a new life as his dreams by settling at Cochin. Prithviraj is played the role of Roy Mathew who falls unexpectedly in a murder case of former Cochin Collector. Roy Mathew was studying in abroad and he did not know much about the living of Kerala as he visited Kerala only some times. He decides then to live and settle in Kerala. The movie Arjunan Sakshi deals with how the people are being deviated from their responsibility to society. The film also shows the upright growth of Kochi as a centre of crimes. With the life starts in Kochi Roy Mathew understands slowly the real picture of the city. He realizes that Kochi is the center of political criminals, corruptions, crimes and antisocial actions and sees the city is very far from his expectation. The film starts with a letter which says about a murder of former Kochi collector. Coincidently the Character Roy Mathey, played by Prithvi Raj, getting involved in this crime. The film reveals the truth behind this murder.
Cast and Crew in Arjunan Sakshi and Performances
Arjunan Sakshi is a special movie just like passenger because of the Direcors Renjith' strange story goes seriously throughout the movie with its good spice less theme and impressive presentation. The viewers should welcome this kind of the film. In my point of view Arjunan Sakshi movie is a good social action thriller as well as a fine commercial movie. Renjith Sankar has been contributed well with his excellent direction and Prithviraj has changed as the character Roy Mathew. We cannot think about anybody else for this character in the film. Prithviraj played this role drastically. This is really a good start for him in 2011 which is very rare. His last two movies Anwar and Thriller also were above average hits. This is an achievement three hits within a short period. Prithvi Is attaining this by only his notable performances.
Editing of Arjunan Sakshi is just brilliant and perfect by Ranjan Abraham. Cinematography is too imposing by Ajayan Vincent. Some scenes like chasing scenes will give us a question that who has done its cinematography. Back Ground Music is superb by Bijibal and aptly blends in the thrilling shots and suspense scenes. He has given the music for the sons of Anil Panachooran.
The recent popular actress Ann Augustin who is debuted and displayed a notable performance in Lal Jose's Movie 'Elsamma Enna Ankutty' has given a substantial contribution in the movie Arjunan Sakshi through the character of a Journalist. The other casts include Biju Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan and Vijeesh have done their part well as usual.
