Valentine's Day is being celebrated on 14th February. Valentine's Day, also called Lovers' Day, is celebrated with much enthusiasm and gaiety all over the world. In this post on Valentine's Day, I have a few Vanentines Day roses and hearts for all who keeps romance in their hearts.

Valentines Day, also called Lovers' Day, has its origins in the ancient Roman Empire. There are various myths in circulation regarding the origin of this Day, which is celebrated all over the world with enthusiasm and gaiety on the 14th of February every year. One myth says that Valentine was a priest during the reign of Emperor Claudius, who sent him to jail for defying his orders. Valentine used to help young lovers get married against the decree of the Emperor. He was tortured to death. In 496 A.D., Pope Gelasius earmarked February 14 in honor of St. Valentine.
