Urumi / The Boy who Wanted to Kill Vasco da Gama is an epic movie from famous director Santhosh Sivan. The film is expected to release on 31 March 2011. The epic movie-Urumi has got lots of specialties. Prithviraj is donning the lead role in the film with Genelia and Prabhu Deva. Film is penned by Sankar Ramakrishnan and the music director of the movie is done by Deepak Dev.

 Specialities and Attractions of Urumi
Urumi has got lots of specialities in terms of it's casting, crew, budget etc. The epic movie is going to be the second highest budget movie to be released in Mollywood after Pazhashiraja. According to the latest reports, the budget of Urum has crossed Rs. 27 Crores. The most thrilling speciality of the movie is it's release in three languages- English, Malayalam and Tamil. Santhosh Sivan and team is planning to release the movie all over the world. Urumi will be released under the titile-"The Boy who Wanted to Kill Vasco da Gama". The epic content in the movie will surely give it a good start outside Kerala also.
Urumi will be the first Malayalam film of famous Bollywood and South Indian actress Genelia. She haa been casted as the heroine in the movie against Prithviraj. Tamil actor Arya is donning a cameo role in this film. Apart from Arya, Prabhu Deva is also seen in the movie. He's doing a complete role in the movie along with Prithviraj and Genelia. The item dance of Vidya Balan is another attraction of Urumi. Tabhu is also doing a cameo role in this epic movie.
 Story of Urumi
The epic story is set in the background of sixteenth century when Vasco da Gama visited India. It's the story of Chirakkal Kelu Nayanar (Prithviraj) and his crew for an epic mission- to kill Vasco da Gama, Viceroy of Portuguese Empire in India. The story of movie is spread between the second and third visit of Vasco da Gama in India. Kelu has a good support from Ayesha (Genelia) of the famed Arackal Sultana and Vavvali (Prabhudeva)- his childhood friend.
They say the climax of Urumi is superb with 150 stuntmen, over 100 horses, more than 1000 extras, multiple cameras and explosives. The movie tells how Gama could had met a blood death in AD 1524. The latest reports and the official website of Urumi says that it will be a good film to watch the old golden epic story of the team who wanted to kill Gama.
