Which branch has to be chosen for an engineering btech degree course ?... Explanations

As this is my first post in this site , i would like to point out some of my hindsights from my 3 years college studies and slightly brief about various branches and which has to be chosen by a fresher aiming for a btech engineering degree.

My name is Mohamed.I am going through my most vital phase of my engineering studies i.e 6th semester. For the past 3 years it has been quite a long ride on the mountains. Before commencing anything let me tell you that i have been an average student obtaining a grade of 6 of 10.But i had got decent scores in sslc and plus 2(92%&85%).
The few advices from me to those who don't have a specific interest in any field and wish to go in engineering arena are the following:
1.Excluding mechanical branch all other branches are one or other the same.So go for the former only if you are deeply interested in it.

2.The only merit of studying outside kerala is the improvement of your linguistic skills especially conversations.

3.As an ece student i feel it as the second most toughest.Of course eee stands first in my view.

4.I do feel info. Technology and cse are the easiest among all.
Had i got one more chance to select my branch i would have easily gone for i.t .
5.If you are an engineer you should be thorough in mathematics.Unless and until you aren't ,the cliche will hold true that the going gets tough ,the tough gets going.
6.And finally you got to believe in yourselves and indeed in the god. And these are my first and simple hints.I know these points are too brief.Hopefully i will elaborate more on these and other points as well in the coming days. Do well all.Take care.
