It has been an outstanding match between India and Pakistan in the Semi Finals of ICC World Cup 2011. And finally India had a last laugh. India won the match by 30 runs. It is Mahendra Singh Dhoni who won the toss and decided India to bat first in the beautiful batting pitch in Mohali. As desired by the captain and Team India, India had a blistering start from Virendra Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. It seemed suddenly that India will finish off with 400 on the board. But Unfortunately India lost Virendra Sehwag and the result was nothing but the decline of India's run rate. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was in great touch and made 85 runs and unfortunately lost his 100th Test Century. India totally managed a score of 20 in their 50 overs with the efforts of Sachin, Dhoni and Raina.
It was also a tough chase for Pakistan under lights. Kamran Akmal and Hafeez gave Pakistan a good start, but Zaheer Khan once again struck with his bowl to get rid of Kamran Akmal. Yuvraj once again had a great contribution to the team taking two important wickets. Ashish Nehra and Munaf Patel also had some excellent contribution. It was a n excellent bowling performance for India that captured a challenging win against Pakistan.
