The Opening Ceremony of IPL 2011 will be hosted in Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The Universal Star of India, Big B, Amitabh Bachchan will be hosting the fourth season of Indian Premier League. The Opening Ceremony will be in 8th April 2011. The ceremony will be commencing from 3:30 pm in evening till 8:00 pm in night. After 8:00 pm we have the first match in IPL 2011 between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkatta Knight Riders.

The opening ceremony will be colourful with all the IPL Teams and with special cultural events and musical shows. Amitabh Bachchan himself is the best person for the rejoicing moments.
