It was a great narration of the history.I think there are no keralites who are aware of the real knowledge and history till the film came.We do get a new information about Vasco Da Gama, the portueguese navigator who stepped down at
Kappad.After he came, he got attracted with the spices of Kerala.And after his second attempt, the land was tried to be brought under their full control.Our resources were having that extend of demand in their view.And most of the people in our land including the Raja's were not able to understand their cunning plans.
In this film, a freedom fighter Kelunayar was the person who headed the people against the Gama followers.And though the fight ended with the temporary withdrawal of their forces from our land, they again came back with more strength.
As a whole the history that we know is just that Vasco Da Gama landed at Kappad.But none of us knew that the person does not have any positive impression in our history.Where as we had never known to remember the fact that a hero did occur who fought against.
Prithviraj has acted very well.And each and every characters are narrated by with the excellent support and combination of a great Camera man and Director.
Public have now accepted the film and all over the film has got a good level of response.
