The first color film was Kandam Becha Coat. The Movie is based on the novel with the same name written by T Mohammed Yusuf. The production house was Modern Theatres. Cinematography was doe by T M Sundara Babu. The movie was released in 1961 and its songs, especially this track, are famous. The movie features eminent actors of the time namely-
