The unique feature of Indiavision is that it is Kerala's first full-fledged channel which is dedicated to news and current issues. The company's registered office is based in Kochi district of Kerala. Indiavision has been founded by M.K Muneer (the Minister for Social Welfare) who is the chairman of Indiavision news channel. The resident director of Indiavision is Jamaludheen Farooque. The channel is available in India, Sri Lanka and the Middle East. 3. Reporter TV

Reporter TV is a new Malayalam news channel which was launched on 11th May 2011. The unique feature of Reporter TV is that it is Kerala's first High Definition (HD) news channel. Reporter TV has been formulated under the leadership of M.V Nikesh Kumar who was the former CEO and Executive Editor of Indiavision new channel. Reporter TV is a 24 hours channel which is entirely dedicated for the coverage of news and current issues in Kerala. M.V Nikesh Kumar is the Managing director and Chief Editor of Reporter TV. The company's headquarters are based in Kochi district of Kerala. The channel became successful as soon as it was launched because of the timing of its opening which coincided with the results of the Kerala Elections 2011. Reporter TV is also slated to be available in the Middle East. The budget for the set up of this new channel was Rs 15 crores. Reporter TV will focus on delivering up-to-date trusted news coverage to its viewers. It concentrates only on hard news related to Kerala with a small section given for feature stories. The channel has also appointed an ombudsman to clear all errors that are given in the news reports before it is aired for the public. Manorama News is a successful 24 hours Malayalam news channel which was launched by Malayala Manorama news group. The channel is also known as 'MM TV' and is based in Kochi district of Kerala. Its headquarters are in Kottayam district of Kerala. Manorama News channel was launched on August 17th, 2006. The unique feature of Manorama News is that it is the first TV channel in India which launched separate regional news broadcast that airs at the same time (a thirty minute telecast of regional news called Nattuvartha which) to three different areas(South, Central and North) in Kerala.
