Ingredients needed to make mutton curry

1 kg mutton
2 medium small onions
8 small onions
1 tsp garlic
1 piece ginger
4 green chillies
2 small tomatoes
1 tbsp coriander leaves
Salt to taste

To be fried
¾ cup grated coconut
1 ½ tbsp coriander
½ tsp poppy seeds
1 pinch of aniseeds
½ tsp pepper
2 red chillies
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 piece cinnamon
3 cardamom and cloves
Few curry leaves
½ cup oil

Method to make mutton curry

Clean the mutton and cut it into pieces. Mix the ingredients needed for frying and fry it till the coconut becomes brown. Grind it well. Crush the green chillies, small onions, ginger and garlic. Heat oil and add big chopped onions and saute it for few minutes. Add the crushed ingredients. Keep frying and add tomato and coriander leaves. Fry for another few minutes. Add the ground masala and fry it well. Add the mutton pieces and cook till tender. Serve this mutton curry hot with rice or chappathi.
