Generally Cyber crime can be termed as any unlawful act using any sort of instrument which can store and propagate information, such as a computer, internet, software, mobiles or any such instrument.

Types of cyber crimes:

a) Cyber stalking
Repeated act of harassment or threatening.

b) Denial of service
An act of jamming or flooding the victim's bandwidth with spam mails thus denies the service for which he is entitled.

c) Hacking
Illegal intrusion into a computer system without permission.

d) pornography
Publishing or transmitting any material contains lascivious themes.

e) Software piracy
Theft or illegal copying of information.

f) Spoofing
Steeling identity of computer.

g) Virus dissemination
Spreading of malicious software like, virus, Trojans and worms etc.

Use antivirus software.
