Kerala PSC Deputy Collector Main Exam Syllabus


The Kerala PSC Deputy Collector main exam will be held on 16th July 2011. It consists of two papers. Read this article to know the syllabus/ time table/ schedule for the Kerala PSC Deputy Collector main exam 2011.

The final exam of Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) Deputy Collector will be held in two papers. The first paper will focus on general studies and the second paper will be for essays.

Paper 1 - General Studies - The paper is for 3 hours (150 marks)

Part III

3. Role of District Collectors in Administration - Situation Analysis
4. Recent land laws in Kerala
5. Decentralization in administration - Local self Government

Part IV
1. Science and Technology - Information Communication Technology
2. General Awareness in modern trends in Life Science

Paper 2 - Essays - The paper is for 1 hour (50 marks)
1. Data Appreciation and Interpretation
2. Problem Solving
3. Essay writing - in local language (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada)
