The director of the film is a famous man from Germany. He is also known for a few other hits in the film industry. The main actor is Jason Momoa. This film is the remake of Conan the Barbarian released in 1982. The actor in the older version was none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was a trendy film at that time. Especially due to the acting of Arnold Schwarzenegger the film became a corny home video hit.

Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011)

This may not be the fault of Jason Momoa (Baywatch hunkster) who plays the leading role in the 1982 Conan the Barbarian remake that made it lower its standard than the Arnold Schwarzenegger film in 1982. Actually the acting by Arnold Schwarzenegger made it a real hit in 1982. What Jason didn't do much about it is he forgot to act. It is not fair to blame the actor because the script was not of the right quality. It lacks humour mainly. The film highlights that Conan has the heart of a lion and the loyalty of a bloodhound. It is actually not a character we can accept.

The story is fictional. It is a battle to get hold of a mystical power. The objective of Conan is to prevent the evil forces from getting it. The visuals of the film is good and it is available to view in 3D. Rating of the film so far is 5 out of 10.
