The first Karshakasree award presents by Balram Jakar(Union Minister)to K.K velayudhan.In 1998 Karshkasree Award acquired by K.C Kuriakose for his yong budding technique.Sunny George is a Karshakashree Award winner in 2010.He is a farmer from Kannur district.He resides in Choorapadavu near Cherupuzha. He farmed rubber,coconut,Cashew,Pepper in mixed way very successively. It will help to acquire Karshakasree award in 2010.
This award initiated by Malayala manorama news paper since 1992.
