Indu Thampi, the winner of Miss Kerala 2010 steps in to the wonderful world of movies as she plays the lead role in Kalavoor Ravikumar directed Malayalam movie Fathers Day. The year 2011 turns to be more successful of the young actress who fetched the Miss Kerala 2010 as she walked through the ramps with a bright smile. There are also reports that Indu will be acting in actress Ambika's maiden directorial venture, 'Anabela' which make her more busy in movie sets. There is no doubt that the 2010 Miss Kerala Crown had been the stepping stone for Indu which had really opened the doors for her career in acting.

The film Fathers Day would also feature the pride of Kerala Resul Pookutty who is also making his debut in Malayalam movie. The movie cast includes Shaheez, Lal, Revathy, Shankar, Suresh Krishna, Vineet, Jagathy and KPAC Lalitha. Produced by Bharat Cinemas the shooting is scheduled to start at the end of September this year at Kanuur.
