Kerala Public Service Commission has invited applications from qualified candidates belonging to Muslim Community for the appointment of Assistant Surgeon in Health Services in Kerala. The requirements for the job are listed below

Category : Health Services

Name of Post : Assist Surgeon

Pay scale : ` Rs.24,040 – 38,840/-

Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other Foreign country under defence service or services connected with defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above Compulsory Military Service.

Qualification :
1. Degree in Modern Medicine or equivalent qualification.
2. Permanent Registration in class A of Modern Medicine with Travancore – Cochin Medical Council.

Last date : 02/11/ 2011 Wednesday upto 12 midnight

Age : 18-44 (born between 02/01/1967 and 01/01/1993)

The Kerala public Service Commission also demands documents to prove agequalification, community, experience etc should be produced as and when called for. Either the Degree or Provisional Certificate obtained from the respective University/college/school can be submitted as your qualification certificate.

How to Apply :

Application are processed through online from the official site of Kerala Public Service Commission, www.keralapsc.org. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the website. Candidates should keep the print out (receipt) of their application. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. No fees is required to register. The photographs uploaded shall be that taken with in six months and the name of the candidate and date of taking photo should be printed at the bottom of the photo.

At the time of Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical Test, Interview etc, candidates shall produce their Photo affixed ID proof in Original and self a attested photocopy of the same.
