As the name indicates Talentime is a platform to showcase the skills as well as talents of students. This was started in the year 1982 & is considered to be the mother of management fests. So Talentime 2011 is considered to be the 28th edition of fiesta. In 2011 Talentime will be held from 14 October 2011- 16 October 2011 at the Cochin University of Science & Technology(CUSAT) located in Ernakulam district of Kerala state, India. CALLIDUS- the Corporate Quiz
The CALLIDUS- the Corporate Quiz will give all the participants a chance to win some exciting prizes. Mitesh Agarwal, who is the country head & CTO- systems solution oracle India will be the quiz master of this CALLIDUS.

Mr & Mrs Talentime
Mr & Mrs Talentime is considered to be the signature event of talentime. In order to participate in this event, the participants are not allowed to take part in any other games in management. Also the college has to participate in 2 events other than the online events. The participants should carry pen drive, mobile phones, blank CD's & laptops with them. The participants must handle the stress & pressure related to those events & the organizers will not take the responsibility to any consequences. Apart from this, remember that the program committee decision will be final & there should not be any questions from the participants.
1st prize: Rs 20,000
IPL Auction or Intellectual Premier League 'AUCTION'
As the name indicates this is an auctioning game. As this is a 2 stage event, in the first stage the participants battle through auction to earn the title team of their choice. The teams who succeed in this will be allowed to enter the real action.
1st prize: Rs 8000
Finance game
Financial quiz, financial plan & portfolio management are some of the rounds included in this finance game. The skills of the candidates in making decisions related to the investment & handling certain situations of business are showcased here. In a team there should be at least two participants but the maximum number of participants allowed for a team is 4. The participants should carry mobile phones, blank CD's, pen drive & laptops with them.

HR game
There are different stages for this HR game including the puzzle, quiz, collage, role play & drum charads. In each team there should be 4 members.
1st prize: Rs 10,000
2nd prize: Rs 5000
Marketing game
In the marketing game, the creative marketing skills of future managers are tested. There should be 4 participants in a team & they should carry at least 1 laptop &1 digital camera(video).

Operations game
In this game there will be certain rounds like paper presentation, brain storming, case study & solving of problem. There must be 2 members in a team provided they are from the same institution. Another point to note is that all teams participating in this game should have a laptop of their own.

For taking part in this business quiz, there must be 2 participants in a team.

Here a theme based performance is showcased that includes theme based cinematic style, eastern fusion & contemporary. So it should be noted that any team without a theme will be disqualified here. Another point is that in a team the minimum number of participants allowed is 4 but the maximum number is 12.

Adaptune
Here each candidate has to perform on a background score, where the timing is about 3 minutes. The candidates must dance according to the tunes of different beats that are mixed together.

Nostalgia
Songs from PRE 80's Tamil, Malayalam or Hindi languages must be selected by the candidates to participate here. In a team the minimum number of participants allowed is 4 but the maximum number is 12. The decision of the judges is based on several factors like costumes, make-up, expression, rhythm, time keeping etc.
