After the box office success and critically acclaimed 'Cocktail', Anoop Menon and Jayasurya are again coming together. They are joining hands for the third time, for the film 'Beautiful'. Kattuchembakam directed by Vinayan was the first film that saw Anoop and Jayasurya together, which was also the debut of Anoop, though the film was a flop. VK Prakash is the director of Beautiful. It was earlier named 'Ladies and Gentlemen'. The film is scripted by Anoop Menon himself, who has proved his talent as a scriptwriter in films like Pakalnakshatrangal and Cocktail. The film has got a few specialities. An interesting feature is that Anoop is penning the lyrics also. So the audience are expecting a treat. Jayasurya is playing a paralysed man in the film. For the first time, he is playing such a role what makes the people enthusiastic.Crew

The film tells the story of two friends. One is Stephen Louis, a paraplegic who is very positive in his attitude. He enjoys each moment of his life and wants to live the life to its fullest. He always keeps a smile on his face. Being wealthy also, Stephen does not have any worries despite his condition in health. Soon enters John, a 34-year-old musician into his life. John is just the opposite of Stephen in nature. He is always in worry regarding his future and looks gloomy. But John is gifted with the talent in music. He plays guitar particularly well. Eventhough staying on the extremes, these two people share a deep friendship. However, with the entry of a home nurse named Anjali in between them, the rhythm of their lives starts to change. The changes happening in their relations form the rest of the story. The characters Stephen and John are portrayed by Jayasurya and Anoop Menon respectively. Meghna Raj appears as Anjali.
Though Meghna Raj have played a couple of lead roles, she hasn't been able to attract the attention as an actor. This time, she will be hoping for a break. Director VK Prakash is also seeking a breather after a flop '3 Kings' which also starred Jayasurya. The film also has an ensemble cast including Jayan, Aparna, KB Venu, Kishore Nanda and Dilip Nair. The main shooting locations were Kochi and Munnar. The film is distributed by Yes Cinema and SRT Films. The movie is expected to hit the screens on November 18th.
