CET's Dhwani 2012 Cultural festivals are common in Kerala. Different institutions of Kerala are conducting their annual cultural fest every year. Dhwani 2012, which is the annual cultural festival of College of Engineering Trivandrum, will be held from 12 January 2012-15 January 2012.This is a 4 day event where teams from about 160 colleges across India will gather for competition. This year about 40,000 participants/ spectators are expected to attend this eighth edition of Dhwani, the biggest college festival of Kerala when considering competitions, attendance and prize money. Dhwani 2012 is sponsored by Asian School of Business, Wrangler, Federal bank, Allianz, SBT, Amrita, State Bank of India and Keltron respectively. Dhwani 2012 Registration fees
The candidates who wish to participate in Dhwani 2012 should produce a valid original college ID. The details of registrations fees is given below,
•Rs 150: Individuals for any number of events
•Rs 500 per team: Street play, mime, eastern orchestra
•Rs 400 per team: Treasure hunt
•Rs 1000 per team: Apparel design, rock show, choreo video
•Rs 150(100 fee+ 50 caution deposit): Accomodation

Dhwani 2012 inauguration / programsOn 12 January 2012, the inauguration of Dhwani 2012 will be done by Adoor Gopalakrishnan at Dhwani stage (6:00PM). Following this there will be CET night from 7:00PM at the Dhwani stage. On 13 January 2012, the second day of Dhwani 2012, there will be creative writing(10:00AM) at reception, short film(10:00AM) at EC seminar hall, mime(10:30AM) at sargam stage, comic strip(10:30AM) at archi studio, devil's advocate-Malayalam(10:30AM) at CETAA, CET roadsters(11:00AM) at Drawing hall 309, dumb, dumber, dumbest(11:00AM) at Mech seminar hall, caricaturing(1:00PM) at archi studio, street play(1:30PM) at archi corner, devil's advocate-English(2:30PM) at CETAA, CET roadsters second round(4:00PM) at Mech seminar hall, mimicry(4:00PM) at sargam stage, creative writing(4:30PM) at reception, fire dance performance(6:00PM) at Dhwani stage and ballet-o-rhythmo-choreo video(6:30PM) at Dhwani stage.
