International symposium in IIMK
An International Symposium on practical wisdom for management from the Indian spiritual traditions will be held at Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode from January 12-13 2012. The main aim of this International symposium that will be hosted by IIMK is to explore the spiritual tradition of our country by studying their role in human spirituality evolution. The keynote speakers of International Symposium 2012 IIMK include Prof Debashis Chatterjee(IIMK Director), Prof Gilbert Lenssen(President of EABIS), Prof Raj Sisodia(Bentley University and CCI), Prof Anil Sachdev(SOIL), Prof Prasad Kaipa(Indian school of business), Ms Vineeta Salvi(Director of wellness and professional effectiveness for CCI), Dr Nisigandha Bhuyan(Indian Institute of Management Calcutta), Prof Ted Malloch(Yale University) and Ms Queralt Prat-i-Pubill(Researcher at ESADE Social Innovation Institute) respectively. IIMK International Symposium 2012 ProgramsOn 12 January 2012, the starting day of international symposium 2012, there will be welcome address and keynote speech (9:00AM – 10:30AM) and paper sessions (11:00AM – 5:30PM). But on 13 January 2012, the last day of international symposium 2012, there will be key note speech (9:00AM – 10:00AM), paper sessions (10:00AM -3:00PM) and closing plenary (3:45 PM-4:45 PM) respectively.
Location of IIMKIf you are residing in Calicut / Kozhikode, you can easily reach IIMK by means of car or bus. For persons staying outside Calicut / Kozhikode, you can reach there by air or train. The Calicut / Kozhikode railway station is located at a distance of 16Km from IIMK campus and you can reach the location by 40 minutes. Some of the important flight details are given below.
