Ameya means without any boundaries. True to the meaning of the word Ananya plays Ameya in the film Ameya. She plays a girl who had to undertake a 12 hour journey in a bus from Kozhikode to Trivandrum alone. The incidents that occur while this journey is blended as the story line of this film.

Ameya is directed by debutant director Ashraf Ahmed who will doing the film on the screen play written by Harshad. In fact the film features a host of newcomers to the industry. The film is produced by Rafeeq Veera. The star cast in the film is huge and have Nishaan and Gautham playing the male leads.

The film is based on the theme that asks us whether a girl alone can complete a journey in the highly educated society we have. Ameya will be a new film that goes deep into such emotions and the director had planned his first movie to be a road thriller. Considering the fact that not many films in Malayalam have been taken a s a road thriller where in the story evolves with the travel, the movie Ameya is a wonderful project to be visualized.

Nishan come back with a bang to Malayalam after some of his high expected projects flopped at the Box office. He got one of the best starts to the career with both his opening films Rithu and Apporvaragam doing well at the box office. But soon he found himself out of fancy with some of the directors while others emerged to take his position. Movie Ameya will mark his second life in malayalam film industry.

Gautham is the other hero who will portray a very important character in the film. Gautham debuted with Yakshiyum Njaanum directed by Vinayan but the film did not raise his career graph. He was backed off to do parsy roles in Malayalam films along with other stars in films like Kasarkode Kadharbhai 2 and Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya. So the movie Ameya would be one film wherein he would be filling his hopes on.

The music department is relatively new in the film with the introduction of a new music director Nazar Malik who had tuned his skills to the lyrics penned by Rafeeq Ahmed and Shamsad Hussain. The film will have 3 songs which would be sung by veterans Shankar Mahadevan and Shhreya Goshal. Cinematography of the film is done by Prakash Velayudhan.

The movie becomes one of the much awaited movies as the genre of the film seems to be something unique. Banking on such a theme to do well a host of youngsters are making their mark in malayalam film industry.
